A Place to Return to
Voyage Retreat Pangkor
is a thoughtfully curated island stay located in the coastal village of Sungai Pinang Kecil, created for travellers who seek calm, comfort, and a genuine connection to Pangkor’s way of life.
Designed with openness and simplicity in mind, the retreat blends modern comfort with the island’s natural rhythm — airy rooms, relaxed shared spaces, and gentle mornings shaped by sea breezes and soft sunlight.
The name Voyage Retreat reflects the spirit behind the stay. Just as fishermen return home after days at sea, this retreat was envisioned as a place of return — where guests can rest after their own journeys, slow down without pressure, and feel a sense of belonging. Here, staying is not about escaping life, but about settling into it — even if only for a while.
Founder
Vision
Voyage Retreat was inspired by something close to our island life fishermen returning home after a long voyage. After days at sea, what they want most is simple: a place that feels safe, familiar, and welcoming.
That’s what I wanted to create — a retreat that feels like home, where guests don’t just stay, but truly belong. Whether you’ve travelled far or near, let Voyage Retreat become the place you can rest, reset, and breathe again after your own long voyage.”

Voyage Retreat is proud to partner with Pangkor Island Festival as a key hospitality and venue partner—providing preferred stays for festival guests and hosting the festival’s officiating event, alongside selected activities.
Since 2013, the festival has grown from a grassroots community arts initiative into a much-loved, multi-day gathering that showcases island heritage through music, workshops, performances, storytelling, craft, and meaningful moments together. Each edition continues to evolve—celebrating milestones such as the 10th Anniversary theme, “Togetherness” (2023), and carrying forward its commitment to sustainability and heritage in 2025 with “The Island & Us – Weaving a Sustainable Tomorrow.”
